Bloggers

From a NY Times article on bloggers covering the Democratic convention:

" I think that bloggers have put the issue of professionalism under attack,"
said Thomas McPhail, professor of media studies at the University of
Missouri-St. Louis, who argues that journalists should be professionally
credentialed. "They have no pretense to objectivity. They don't cover both
sides."

Has this man never watched FOX??? Or read nearly any newspaper??? What a
jerk. He certainly perpetuates the idea of ivory tower idiocy.

Right objectivity from journalists... At least bloggers make no pretense at
objectivity and are open about their leanings rather than pretending to
same.

Well, at least I got a laugh for the day.
